By opening up your hips and shoulders you will prepare your body for delivering the baby and also for the long days ahead of carrying or nursing that baby!

Doing yoga after pregnancy will help you shed the baby weight, reduce the risk of postpartum depression, and speed up recovery from delivery (both c-section and natural).
Doing yoga with your kids or just having them around while you practice is a great way to show them that Mommy is important too! And yoga is for EVERYONE! You can do gentle yoga poses with your newborn in your arms and build that special bond or you can do your own practice with baby next to you. The most fun and rewarding way to do yoga with small children at home is to encourage them to join you!
