Be willing to Fall in order to Fly!

Shouldn’t a knowledgable and experienced yoga teacher know perfect alignment in order to avoid injury altogether?  If they injure themselves does that mean that I will get hurt?  Shouldn’t they be perfect in every way so that they can help ME become perfect in my yoga practice?! And shouldn’t they be so amazingly experienced that they can do every freaking pose under the sun?  *Sigh*  These are things that I have heard throughout my years in the yoga community and unfortunately I used to fall prey to these judgments myself.

I have been a yoga teacher for 8 years now and I am at the point where I am seeing my long-time students now becoming teachers themselves!  I am witnessing their growth as they go out into the world and learn lessons that I also learned during my first year(s) of teaching.  As a momma-bear I want to protect all new teachers and help them to avoid some hard-learned lessons that I experienced (the hard way) just 8 years ago...
