My best advice for starting a home practice is to just MOVE your body. You don't need a mat, you do not need any special props, you just need to start with a couple poses and an intention to take care of YOU! The rest will come. Trust me, it will.
Breathe first...then listen...and of course move your body. I know it sounds easier said than done but if you constantly overthink it then you will always think yourself out of it! Here is a short flow of me just getting outside while the kids played. I moved with the wind and felt my breath take me in and out of the poses. It is beautifully meditative and when you are moving from your heart you are filling up and energizing your heart with the beauty of yoga.
You can do it! Slow down, breathe and FLOW!
