Well, the start of 2014 has motivated me to get my butt in gear and "re-launch" my new website - new look, photos, focus - and I have to say, it is fun and daunting and liberating all at the same time. See, I am a bit of a perfectionist. I like neat and tidy and I can't STAND it when something is unfinished or incomplete. So I kept telling myself that I had to have this fabulous and inspirational blog post complete with photos, etc. in order to launch the new site. But here is the reality folks...I am a stay-at-home mom to two (amazing) rather mommy-obsessed children that require a lot of my time and energy (but seriously, what kids don't?). So for me to sit down and be super creative hasn't been possible over the past few weeks. Not to mention the flu hit our house big time last week!
So...here we are...my incredibly inspiring blog/journal post...hmm...
Well, I guess I will keep this first entry on the shorter side just to get things started and truth-be-told, it's late and I am tired :) But here's the scoop - - - > I want to share my knowledge with others. I have over 800 hours of formal training in all things yoga and I am STILL learning and I am always taking new courses and pushing myself to grow. I am also a bit of a health nut and have a lot of knowledge on how to eat and live a healthy/clean life. But I have many years of practical and professional experience in the yoga world to share and by golly whats the point if I can't share it all with my family, friends and students?
So here is my goal and intention for the re-launch of my website: To show YOU how you can make Yoga a REALISTIC part of your daily life...especially for Mommies and new parents! ALSO...I am now available for private/group consultations, lessons, etc. If you are PREGNANT or just gave BIRTH and would like a private one-on-one with me I want to hear from you!!
Starting this year you can expect to see more of these fun things:
- Videos of sequencing ideas, pose tutorials, answer student questions
- Photos of student progress
- Tips, ideas, suggestions for helping Mommies stay healthy and balanced during and after pregnancy
- Recipes and healthy food ideas
- More fun ramblings that cannot be predicted at this time ;)
